The Key To Your Home’s Comfort Could Be Right In Your Hand
Every industry is affected by the ever changing technology scene and HVAC is no exception. In the past decade the heating industry has seen drastic changes to the furnace which now is operating at upward of 98 percent efficiency! Indoor air quality has also taken on drastic change by using UV lights to remove odors and alergens from the air creating a more pleasant experience for customers in their homes. The next wave of technology to hit the market is wireless control. Not just control of the temperature but whole house automation which will include turning on and off lights, setting the temperature and increasing or decreasing the amount of humidity.
Our last article talked about the new software that Apple is currently working on to create this home automation package but we are already selling thermostats which will perform a lot of these tasks. The specific thermostat which All Comfort Services sells is called the iComfort. There are videos online which walk you through a user tutorial but I wanted to briefly describe the user experience and what some of our customers have been saying since they installed one.
One of our customers in McFarland recently installed the iComfort thermostat and they were really pleased with the smartphone application which accompanied this thermostat. On the weekends she would even adjust the thermostat from bed so she didn’t have to get up when it was cold.
Another customer of All Comfort Services is a frequent traveler. He works for Epic in Verona and he often is heading out of town for his job. While out of town he typcially will watch the weather for the Dane County and notice that it has deviated from the original forecast. Instead of worrying about the temperature in his house he has the peace of mind of the iComfort thermostat application on his smartphone and he is able to adjust the temperature on the fly.
These are just a couple example of how this technology is making the lives of our customers more enjoyable. For more information on the thermostat and other ways that All Comfort Services can help you automate your household here in Wisconsin call today. Our number is 608-205-4410
