Commercial HVAC Customer Spotlight: Ha Long Bay on Williamson Street

Ha Long Bay Vietnamese & Thai Bistro serves up a menu that will delight your taste buds. There are numerous authentic Vietnamese, Thai, and Lao dishes on the menu. “Everything is good. We know people want different things and so we have many things to choose from on the menu,” says owner Chris Tran.
Chris and his wife, Jean, are originally from Vietnam and Laos and are not new to the restaurant business. They owned a Chinese restaurant in Beaver Dam for 20 years before they started their Ha Long Bay restaurant in 2009. After the couple sold their Beaver Dam restaurant, they took a short break but soon discovered they couldn’t wait to get back to running a restaurant. They knew right away the location at 1353 Williamson Street would be perfect for them. Jean is the chef and the restaurant serves meals Monday through Saturday 11 am to 9:30 pm and Sunday 11:30 am to 9 pm. When asked about how they like being on Williamson Street, Chris warmly replies, “We love this community.” He says the people and area are positive and sometimes he can use his French-speaking skills with guests. “There’s a Canadian guest that comes to my restaurant and I enjoy using my French. Parlez-vous francais?”

All Comfort Services Found a Solution for Heating and Cooling a Busy Restaurant
Ha Long Bay is often busy and customers line up outside the door. During winter months when the door is continually opening and closing, cold air rushes in making the space uncomfortable. Chris thinks it’s important for his employees and guests to be comfortable, and in November 2017 decided to improve his heating system. His search for a heating and cooling company began by looking in the phone book. He didn’t have luck finding the right company because he said they either didn’t show up or didn’t respond fast enough. “We would have to wait two weeks for an estimate and I can’t be without heat for two weeks,” says Chris. A solution finally arrived when Chris’ sister-in-law said to contact All Comfort Services. “My sister-in-law said All Comfort Services is five stars. So, I went with them.”
Chris scheduled an appointment with All Comfort Services for an estimate, and met with Owner Larry Davies and Comfort Consultant Debbie Wuksinich onsite in order to better understand the restaurant’s needs. Debbie and Larry checked out the space and sizing and provided an estimate for the right sized heating and cooling system. Chris says he’s very happy with All Comfort Services. “They are reliable and respond quickly,” says Chris.
